Nate’s Drag Cafe

A few weeks ago I posted my first motorcycle, a Kikker 5150, on craigslist. I don’t know if you’ve noticed that blue CB500 from our progress posts…. yeah, that’s going to be my upgrade! Going from a 110cc to a 500 is some upgrade huh? 😉 Anyway, we first met Nate Doggett when he responded to our ad on the cycle. Tony and Nate got to talking… next thing you know a new project has started. A raked cafe digger! I saw this work-in-progress for the first time today and I have to say, I am super excited about this project! So enough talking, lets get to the progress photos!

Honda CB650, ready, set, lets build!

All clean and ready for Mike to start shaving/cutting/welding the frame.

Modified and painted.

Engine clean and ready for paint

Benelli 360 tank

Beer box tail mocked up. Nate said, “Drop that bitch!”

So we did!

Carbs on, custom rear shocks, 4″ lowered tubes, 4 into 1 wrapped and on, emblems filled, gators on, custom aluminum tail, molded and riveted. She’s starting to look custom!

  1. I must thank you for the efforts you’ve put in writing this website. I really hope to see the same high-grade content from you later on as well. In truth, your creative writing abilities has motivated me to get my own, personal site now 😉
